Uttarakhand Metro Rail Urban Infrastructure and Building Construction Corporation Limited (UKMRC), a venture of the Government of Uttarakhand is a Special Purpose Vehicle entrusted with the responsibility of implementation of Uttarakhand Metro Rail Project.
Uttarakhand Metro, will not only add to the divine beauty of Uttarakhand but immensely adds to the comfort level of travel. Besides this, Uttarakhand Metro is a major environment-friendly addition to the Uttarakhand state, as it will significantly contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions.
The commercial operations on Phase-1 is expected to be operational by 2023-24.
